The CCM Tacks AS-V Shin Guards have an Anatomical Shield Design (ASD) The ASD is specifically engineered to offer the best protection possible while also being comfortable and keeping a wide range of motion.

The exposed calf guard with D30 gives you shot block protection, for extra impact and shock absorption, giving you professional-level protection. The JDP kneecaps with D30 protection on the inside helps absorb the impact and shock, while giving padded comfort. The elite-strength shin caps are anatomically shaped and abrasion resistant. The shin also includes landing to lock in tape, coupled with D30 at the bottom for maximum protection, and protection against rubbing.

The thigh is made with top quality foam for professional protection. The flexmotion construction helps to reduce interference with your hockey pants. For attachment there is ADPTFIT and straps: A length adjustable dual calf strap and a Hyper X lock strap that helps keep the shin guard in place during the game.

The ADAPTFIT liner is removable and the lower pad is detachable, giving you the option to wear your skate tongue in. The shinguard has a mid density foam and a plastic reinforced side guard for extra protection.
